Margaret Thornhill, DMA

I teach clarinet privately in Los Angeles to advanced students, conduct the Los Angeles Clarinet Choir, and am founder director of the Claremont Clarinet Festival, a summer performance workshop for advanced players held at Pomona College. A former faculty member at Stanford University, UCSC and Occidental College, I am Adjunct professor of Clarinet at Concordia University, Irvine. With 30 years experience performing and teaching, I accept students ages 12 to 80, and am an excellent choice for high school students seeking to prepare for conservatory study, young artists taking professional auditions, or serious amateurs who want to improve their clarinet skills.
