I am an experienced private tutor of English Language and Literature, EFL, French and Spanish with a number of years' experience in colleges and schools both in the UK and overseas, including working as a Director of Studies and as a Housemother in a girls' boarding school.

I have a BA(Hons) (Manchester) degree in languages as well as recently gained Open University qualifications in French and Spanish which have kept my skills up to date.   I hold an MA in Literature, covering a wide range of literature in English and finally specialising in C19th poetry. I also have the Trinity College London Licentiate Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

I offer tuition for:

English as a Foreign Language - all levels with particular skills in teaching English for business purposes

I teach from my home office in Haslemere, Surrey and I welcome students of all ages, from teens to senior citizens. I offer convenient times to suit you from 10am to 7pm and I work from Monday to Saturday inclusive. My fees range from £20 per hour for GCSE tuition to £25 per hour for A'level work.
