I am a patient and friendly tutor with experience in providing one-on-one English tuition. I hold an MA and a BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Warwick. I have taught a wide range of ages and abilities, including 11+, GCSE and A Level. As well as individual tutoring experience, I work at Chatham Dockyard as an Education Assistant, delivering learning sessions to primary school groups. At university I organised creative writing workshops for primary level children. I also have a great deal of informal tutoring experience, for example I tutored my younger brother through his English GCSEs and at university I frequently proof-read essays for other students and provided feedback on their essay writing technique. 

I teach at my own home in Lordswood (just outside Chatham) but I am also willing to travel to give lessons in homes that are within five miles of Lordswood, although there may be an additional charge to cover travel expenses. I am also happy to tutor small groups of students (max. 5) at a discounted price. Please contact me for more details.
