Arnold Wilson

I have degrees in Engineering and Management, with years of experience in industry before becomong a tutor more than 10 years ago. My special subjects are Mathematics, Verbal and Non-verbal Reasoning.

My approach includes assessments and preparation of progress reports at appropriate intervals. Students are taught learning skills and problem solving strategies that can be used with assurance throughout life and in any discipline.

My teaching method is designed to build self confidence in the students and the belief to trust in their own ability. The use of relevant revision exercises and exam type questions and papers are used to consolidate knowledge in preparation for examinations. These strategies have helped students to achieve excellent results at SAT's, Eleven Plus and GCSE examinations.

I cover the counties of Essex, Kent and Surrey which include Grammar schools and Independent schools in such towns and boroughs as Bromley, Bexley, Croydon, Orpington, Sutton and Wandsworth.
